Best Case for Ipod!I really like ISkin products and this wasn't the exception. I bought this case for my 10 year old niece and it has kept her ipod in great shape despite the fact that she runs around with it, drops it, and treats it like a toy. It fits the ipod perfectly and allows the touch wheel to work without a problem.
Great case!I had been looking for a new iPod case for awhile and when I came upon this one online I decided to take a chance and order it. I'm glad I did because I love it! It fits my iPod perfectly and it looks adorable. It does take a little maneuvering to actually get it to fit correctly when you first put it on, but it's no big deal. I would recommend this case to anyone.
Great productThis is the second EVO3 cover that I've owned. I love it. It really does protect my Ipod. It's easy to put on, and entirely covers over the entire Ipod. The only drawback, (which is really small) is the cover over where you plug in the unit. It's a little harder to set into a speaker system unless you bend the cover out of the way. My Ipod is several years old, but because of the case, if you take it out, it looks like new. I only bought a new one because I had a lot of scratches on the clear window protector. The old case otherwise is in great shape. It's a great product.
Everyone should get one for their iPodIndestructible! This has saved my iPod numerous times from falls. It has a great feeling, easy to use the touch wheel. The only shortcoming is the case is thick so the earphone jack doesn't always get full contact. I can easily live with this flaw since the benefits of the case for exceed this one shortcoming.
4.5 starsThis is probably the best iPod case that I have owned. By far, the most intelligent design is the belt clip itself which features a rather clever plastic locking mechanism that is easy to lock/unlock yet rugged enough to stand up to day-to-day use.
The case itself is made of thick silicone, but with pores on the back of the iPod for heat dissipation. While I can't comment on whether or not the pores actually work to the degree as advertised, I do have to admit that it's a testament to the designers who clearly understand the operational characteristics of the iPod itself; having an iPod overheat is NOT a good thing for the unit and the battery.
The screen protector is probably the best fit that I have ever seen in a case which utilizes a built-in silicone lip on the case itself and uses a raised silicone nub to keep it from sliding around. It's scratch resistant, so I'm hoping that it will have a longer life then the Belkin case that I had which experienced a scratch on day one.
Only 2 minor complaints:
1. The entire case covers the iPod (except for the small pores on the back) including a flap that covers the docking port. The iSkin website advertises that it can fit in the Apple Universal dock. This is true, but I found that it works only if you remove the 5th generation template (in the universal dock) for the 80 GB iPod AND if you tuck the sleeve back into the case. IT STILL WORKS, but I was hoping that it would be a little easier than this.
2. The hold button is completely covered. It is still usable as there is a raised protrusion for using the hold button, but it's a little finicky at first. Once you get the hang of placing the right pressure through the silicone, it's fairly easy to use it from that point forward.
All in all, a good case with some minor issues. I would highly recommend it.
