This is probably the best iPod case that I have owned. By far, the most intelligent design is the belt clip itself which features a rather clever plastic locking mechanism that is easy to lock/unlock yet rugged enough to stand up to day-to-day use.

The case itself is made of thick silicone, but with pores on the back of the iPod for heat dissipation. While I can't comment on whether or not the pores actually work to the degree as advertised, I do have to admit that it's a testament to the designers who clearly understand the operational characteristics of the iPod itself; having an iPod overheat is NOT a good thing for the unit and the battery.

The screen protector is probably the best fit that I have ever seen in a case which utilizes a built-in silicone lip on the case itself and uses a raised silicone nub to keep it from sliding around. It's scratch resistant, so I'm hoping that it will have a longer life then the Belkin case that I had which experienced a scratch on day one.

Only 2 minor complaints:

1. The entire case covers the iPod (except for the small pores on the back) including a flap that covers the docking port. The iSkin website advertises that it can fit in the Apple Universal dock. This is true, but I found that it works only if you remove the 5th generation template (in the universal dock) for the 80 GB iPod AND if you tuck the sleeve back into the case. IT STILL WORKS, but I was hoping that it would be a little easier than this.

2. The hold button is completely covered. It is still usable as there is a raised protrusion for using the hold button, but it's a little finicky at first. Once you get the hang of placing the right pressure through the silicone, it's fairly easy to use it from that point forward.

All in all, a good case with some minor issues. I would highly recommend it.

Vibrant Color Provides Excellent Security
I got my ipod as a birthday present back in December. I had read enough to know that I definitely wanted a case. But choosing which one was the hardest part. I finally managed to narrow my selection down to a few of the most expensive ipod cases (not intentionally of course lol). But when I went to the Iskin website, it made me want this one even more. Then I had another dilemma. I had to decide which amazing vibrant color I wanted. Let me tell you, if you've only seen the color of this one, look for the other eVo3 cases. The other colors are intensely beautiful!

So anyway, I bought this one in Atomic Green and I was so thrilled when it came.
It was easy enough to put it on. There were some directions along with it (but I skimmed through them without needing to think too hard) and it's mostly self explanitory. So far, after 1 1/2 months or so, I've had absolutely no problems. It's worked just the way it claims and I'm pleased with it.

The main thing I'd like to mention to potential buyers is about which ipod it will fit: I was confused at first because this one seems to be only for the 60 gb ipod video, while on the Iskin website the larger size is for the 60 and the 80. (I mean, it has two options: 30 gb ipod video, or 60/80 gb ipod video). I have an 80 gb ipod video so I was a little worried that perhaps this was a older version that was made to fit only the 60 gb. But I ended up getting it anyway, figuring I would return it if it truly was the wrong size.
And it fits fine.

Bottom Line:
Functional case in exciting colors suits any 60 GB - or 80 GB! - ipod video extremely well.

A dissapointment
When I recieved this skin I was very happy that I could protect my expensive iPod Video.
I was very dissapointed in the skin when it would not hold the iPod .
The skin kept falling off.

Great Protection for my G5 60Gig Video iPod
When purchasing my G5 60Gig Video iPod, I knew I needed a cover because of the fragile LCD screen. I am very pleased that after much deliberation, I selected the iSkin. The soft covering wraps around the whole unit leaving the screen uncovered. There is then a hard plastic face guard that covers the entire front, except the scroll wheel (which is still protected by the soft covering). There is very little (if any) glare on the screen and the soft covering provides a great gripping surface. The only CON I have found is that the soft surface attracts lint (big picture... SO WHAT!!)
I love this product and have recommended it to friends and co-workers.

Best skin I've seen!
I saw this skin online and I ended up going to a store to look for it locally. Unfortunately I did not find it so I purchased one from Bad Buy. Well I was sick of the BB one in less than 30 minutes because it did not really protect the unit the way I wanted it to. I immediately found it again here on Amazon and ordered the Evo3. I am much happier with this skin and I really like all of the features.

I was a bit shocked that the face was actually acrylic and truly protects the face of the unit and looks GOOD! I've got a black iPod so the yellow on black blends very well and truly has a unique look to the unit. The belt clip is a two piece clip and one section is inside the skin and the other is on the outside, so you don't have to worry about it ripping the skin.

Do be careful though as I sliced my finger open on the face place when it was out of the skin. The edges are very sharp!

Pros: Awesome look, has a great protection for the face that is ULTRA clear, and the belt clip is two piece that helps prolong the life of the silicon!

Cons: The acrylic is a bit sharp on the edges.
